Come and see the empty cross, where the Saviour paid the cost
Jesus is risen from the dead
From the borrowed tomb he came, bursting into to life again
Jesus is risen from the dead. Yes, Jesus is risen from the dead

Just as he said – raised to life, the battle won
Just as he said – freedom in the risen Son
Lift your eyes, behold your king
Come rejoice, for now we sing
Forever we will live in him – just as he said!

Come and join the victory cry, praise the Saviour now alive

A promise made, a promise won, sin defeated, death is done
Jesus is risen from the dead. Yes, Jesus is risen from the dead

When we were far away, searching for truth in vain, our God in mercy came to save
When we were slaves to sin, when we were dead within, his perfect love has set us free
And now we stand secure, held by his mighty power; we know his promises are sure
So now with joy we sing, waiting for Christ the King – in hope, we hold on to that day.
